The Obligatory First Post

It’s always important to denote the “first post” in a new weblog. It’s like smashing a bottle against a ship, getting drunk on your prom night, or carrying a bride over the threshold. It’s ceremonial and it’s necessary. That said, none of those events are significant in any other way than their ceremony (after all, how important is a bottle of champagne or a single step?) and neither is this first post.

Therefore, I’m going to use this first post as a testbed for my own testing of the styles that will be used on this site. If I may quote myself:

This is a BLOCKQUOTE. Doesn’t it look pretty?Me — Just now

We also have some “strong” text and some that’s emphasized.

Am I boring you? Well, try some of the other posts! :)

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

It’s nice to have all your ducks in a row, isn’t it? :) I like the looks of the site. Good luck!

Top idea. Good luck with it. Can’t wait to start directing people here rather than giving phone support!
